RMA and Warranty Information

   
 
 
 

    How long will MGC® warranty be effective?
1.  
All MGC color CRT monitor products are warranted for three (3) years for parts, three (3) years labor and two (2) years for CRT from the date of the first consumer purchase. MGC Technologies Inc. does not warrant any products that have been subject to improper use, abuse or physical damage.

2.  
MGC LCD display products are warranted for 1 year on the panel and back light, 2nd year covers all other parts and labor and 3rd year covers parts only. The labor charge for the 3rd year is $85.00 payable by COD.
Effective Date: December 1, 2005


    What is not covered by MGC® warranty?
1.  
Any product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.

2.  
Removal, disposal, installation, and set-up service charges.

3.  
This warranty does not apply to damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:

   
A.
  An accident, misuse, negligence, air conditioning, humidity control, fire, water, lightening, flood, earthquake, or acts of God.
   
B.
  Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by MGC Technologies Inc.
   
C.
  Any damage of the product due to shipment.
   
D.
  Removal or installation of the product.
   
E.
  Causes external to the product such as electric power fluctuations or electric power failure.
   
F.
  Use of supplies or parts not meeting MGC's specifications.
   
G.
  Beyond normal use.
   
H.
  Any other causes which does not relate to a product defect.


    How can I process RMA?
   
Obtain a RMA Number:

1.  
In order to return a monitor to MGC Technologies Inc., send an email to returns@mgcusa.com.

2.  
Be sure to include your name, your phone, serial number, model number, problem, manufacture date, and a return shipping address.

3.  
An RMA number will be issued within the next business day.

   
Ship Monitor to MGC Technologies, Inc

1.  
The RMA number will be valid for 10 working days. Otherwise, the RMA will be cancelled and the shipment will be refused.

2.  
You will pay for packing and freight expense to ship the monitor to a MGC authorized repair center.

3.  
Any damages which occur during shipping will be the sole responsibility of the shipper.

4.  
The RMA number must be clearly printed on the outside of the shipping carton. A copy of the RMA reply must be on the box.

5.  
MGC Monitor repair center will pay for the shipping of the monitor to you provided it is under warranty.

6.  
All out of warranty monitor repair will be shipping back to customer on a C.O.D.

7.  
Do not add any items to the issued RMA number. Any unauthorized item will be refused or the entire shipment may be refused.


    D.O.A.
   
If a monitor fails to function properly and is returned to MGC Technologies Inc. within 30 days of the invoice date, MGC Technologies Inc. will replace the DOA monitor with a new or refurbished monitor subject to:

   
1.
  Availability of the monitor.

   
2.
  Obtaining a valid RMA number.

   
3.
  Shipment of the monitor within the 30 day window.


    Repair & Replace

.  
Any returns that is found to be not defective may be assessed a service charge and the return freight.
