Missing or discolored pixels in your LCD panel. Is this a problem?
This is a common problem with high res LCDs, especially the TFT versions. Most manufacturers have a specification for the number of dead pixels they will allow before the display is deemed a reject. Usually, this is about 99.999% or so working. In an 800 X 600 display, MGC will guarantee the LCD to be 99.999% working or about 5 dead pixels are acceptable. In a 1024 X 768 display, you can have 7 dead pixels and still pass a 99.999% rate.
